Grab your easel and your sense of adventure. The Mississippi Plein Air Painters are heading to the Delta for a two-day celebration of painting, friendship, and creativity. Artists of all skill levels—from first-timers to seasoned professionals—are invited to capture the historic downtown, beautiful architecture, and Delta landscapes of Greenwood on canvas.

The event kicks off Friday with workshops and an evening Paint Out Competition, followed by a full day of painting on Saturday. The weekend wraps up with a Wet Paint Sale and Awards Reception, where artists can display and sell their work to the public. With cash prizes totaling thousands of dollars across professional, amateur, and Quick Draw categories, there’s plenty of incentive to put your best brush forward.

Registration is $60, with an optional $100 fee for workshops and a $10 fee for the Quick Draw Competition. Guests can attend meals and receptions for a $25 fee.
