This 4‑room red house was saved from destruction and purchased by Aubrey Whittington from Mr. Grey at Holcomb, Mississippi, and loaned to Three Forks for the project.

Its new name derives appropriately from the famous Jimi Hendrix blues song, Red House—a slow, smoky blues about a man whose "baby" has left him and gone across town. The song, recorded in 1966, has become one of Hendrix's most beloved deep cuts and a staple of blues-rock.

Like the song, this flat has soul. It's a place where you can feel the music of the Delta in the walls, the tin roof, and the quiet of the countryside.
